What is Medicare Advantage?

Medicare Advantage (also known as Medicare Part C) is a health insurance plan offered by private companies approved by Medicare. Because Original Medicare does not cover routine dental care, many Medicare Advantage plans offer a way for seniors to access these services by bundling them with health coverage from private insurers.

What Dental Services are Covered?

Dental coverage varies by plan, but often, Medicare Advantage plans that include dental benefits cover services such as:

Cleanings and Oral Exams
Cavity Fillings
Tooth Removal
Dentures
Crowns
Emergency Dental Care
