Jerry joined the Board of Directors in 2017 and recently retired as the Administrative Health Officer for the Marquette County Health Department. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration–Accounting from Michigan Technological University and a Master of Public Administration from Northern Michigan University. In May 2017, he also earned a Graduate Certificate in Public Health from Michigan State University.

In March 2026, Jerry stepped down from the Board after being asked to serve as Interim CEO, most recently as Interim COO, while the search for a permanent COO is underway. He will continue in this role until a successor is identified.
