Jerry joined the Board of Directors in 2017 and recently retired as the Administrative Health Officer for the Marquette County Health Department. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration–Accounting from Michigan Technological University and a Master of Public Administration from Northern Michigan University. In May 2017, he also earned a Graduate Certificate in Public Health from Michigan State University.

In March 2026, Jerry stepped down from the Board after being asked to serve as Interim CEO while the search for a permanent CEO is underway. He will continue in this role until a successor is identified.
