I want to challenge us to do something different – We must strive for something more than normalcy.  I have a strong vision for our team, partners, and for the people of Michigan.  We are focusing our efforts on building an equitable system for our Michiganders.  Addressing dental care in our state is not a singular problem or one that we can’t solve alone.  We all have a role to play and a responsibility to stay true to our mission and values to strengthen the communities we serve. We must be a catalyst for change, dedicated to evolving as a team, and most of all amplifying the importance of people to create change. 

We need each other – now more than ever – and we will remain steadfast in our pursuit of living out our values of compassion, teamwork, integrity, and stewardship, each and every day. This report I present to you is just a glimpse of the experiences our team has each and every weekday. These are the stories and the moments we hold close to and weigh heavy on our hearts. These stories we share are what inspire us to keep going.

I remain hopeful, as a community, that we are all on the same side in the bigger picture, being there for one another.  Thinking ahead. Seeing beyond the barriers. Building access together.  I am encouraged because of the power of you, our team members, partners, and patients, and everyone who has continued to work hard to make the world a better place in the face of barriers. And if we continue to pursue our mission, together, I am certain that we will collectively achieve so much more.
